About Me
Website development and computer consulting allow me to combine my analytical brain with my joy of helping people. Technology can be a great tool, but it can also be confusing and intimidating. I like helping people use computers to make their lives easier.
Prior to working independently, I was the Information Manager at the Regional Arts Commission. I maintained the website and database, and did tech support with staff, grantees, and users of the ArtsZipper cultural calendar.
My career path has been diverse. I have degrees in Forestry and Ecology, and have worked in physical therapy, environmental education, home healthcare, and on a farm. At various times my college majors included mechanical engineering, philosophy, computer science and agronomy.
In my spare time, I can often be found on my bike. One of my favorite routes is the Riverfront Trail. It's a fascinating ride from the Arch and casinos, through a gritty industrial area, to a wildlife area where I sometimes see turkeys and deer. Farther north, it's a treat to bike across the Mississippi River on the old Chain of Rocks Bridge. If you see me, please say "Hi!"
